Girls Camp

General to say it's was so fun
staying away from the outside world for 5days
it makes me more focus on the messages from the Lord
the theme for the camp is "of rags and riches"

Day1
i am so freaky nervous...
who am i going to meet?
what friends am i going to make?
will they like me?
upon registration, they said i'm in "phileo"
and in my heart, i asked "what's phileo?"
oh, it's the name of the group
but oh my, my sis is not in my group=(
and i don't understand why it has to be just for girls
then now i know why
you know, in this camp, we don't have to "jaga image"
we can do whatever we can't do at the midst of boys
sleep early and there goes the 1st day...


Day2
heard the whistle and woke up at 6.30am sharp
don't be late or you will be forfeited
after cleaning up, it's quiet time
read a couple of verses and answers some questions given
then we RAN down the stairs onto a open space court
those were late ended up - forfeited
next, breakfast...
as for the morning talk, it's based on our theme
today's talk is bout respect
i loved the speaker, she's friendly...
*lost my notes on all talks, trying my best to get it back
and there's a workshop
i chose "knowing God's will"
the speaker was Ms. Michelle Lam
she spoke bout different wills of God
like there's one hidden will which we are not suppose
to spend our whole life trying to reveal that will
and there's a handcraft class - sewing which is not so fun
i'll skip to the night talk - the hidden treasures
it's bout our savior died on the cross for us
even though i've heard that message for many times
it still hit my heart, tears rolling down my cheek
we also had a group sharing before lights out
sweet dreams....(can't sleep well)

Day3
it's similar to the 2nd day
except for the workshop
we had a different speaker - Dr. Daniel Wong
he's talk was very practical and more to reality
it's okay but sorry to say that i love Michelle more
as for the night talk, we watched a movie
not quite a movie, it's about a guy named Nick...
he is so brave, we all admired him so much =)
he was born as a paralyzed kid, without his both legs and arms
u know that he can swim and answers phone calls?
wow, he is really an inspiration to many of us
he trust in the Lord with all his heart
and believe that the Lord will use his life
so don't say God is unfair to you
he's message was good and kind of funny
i'll remember that...
bonus for today, i got to know all of my friends
they were so funny and fun
we were laughing and laughing for the whole day for nothing
since when i've been laughing like that?

Day4
we are having a concert tomorrow so we'll practice most of time today
while waiting for our scene, we talked and joke around
we talked bout schools, churches and guys
all interesting things happen in school and the CF we had in school
and the funny thing is this...
there's a friend from my group fall for a guy who cooks for us
and he is only 13, nickname is fishy
and she was depressed...we laughed so hard when we heard it
it was like "WHAT???" when we got to know it
we had to keep it secretive cause her sisters are in camp too
that guy's sis was also very close to her
so we kept teasing her for the whole day
fishy here and fishy there
even though it's quite mean
but we try to help her out with the depression
"what is there to be depress? it's only a childhood crush..."
she should be the noisiest in our group and ended up to be so moody
hey...come on, get out of it and start to laugh, you funny little papaya
Btw, we had snacks before bedtime...

Day5
Last day of camp (sobs)
we exchanged e-mails and contact no.
we kept singing our "group song"

love the lord your God
with all your heart
and all your soul
and all your mind
and love all mankind
as you would have love yourself
and....(cheerful song)

the concert was great, we kept cheering for every team
and nearly loose our voice
we hugged and do all the goodbyes before leaving
it's really fun joining this camp
last but not the least, friends that i made are
tze lin, su zhen, hui wei, shirley, ji anne, mei fen, hannah, wee kye,
audrey, apple( my angel ), angeline( my mortal ), iris and more...
sorry i can't remember all, plus many from other group
